A router will access
the Internet through that IP address, then provide local IP addresses
for all the PC's connected to it. This IP address is not visible to
anyone on the Internet. A Router will allow the computer to access the
Internet from multiple computers through one connection. The transfer of
data packet happen at lightening speeds, hence even though the data is
transferred sequentially, it may look as if they occur simultaneously
