Is the gravity same at every place on the Earth?

Gravity is more at the equator and its less at poles because, the diameter of the Earth is more at the equator than at the poles. At the equator, the distance to the center is less and hence the gravity at equator is more. Similarly, the distance between the center of the Earth and the poles is more and hence the gravitational force is less.
