It is the average rise in temperature of the oceans, surface and the atmosphere of the Earth. Past three decades, the mean surface temperature of the Earth was increased about 0.8°C (1.4° F). Scientists estimated that 90% of the effect is due to green house gases produced as a result of burning fossil fuels and deforestation.
